Mr. Unsit Sampantharat, Director-General of the Department of Provincial Administration, had the honor to document a testimonial for the Mekong-Republic of Korea Cooperation Fund (MKCF), which supports the project Enhancing people to people connectivity to address the non-traditional security challenges in the Mekong region (NTS-Mekong Watch).
He hilighted that the support provided by MKCF to this project has contributed significantly to the department’s mission of creating resilient spaces for communities to live together happily in a safe and sustainable society. This includes promoting the concept of “building strong cross-border communities” in border areas, which fosters closer relationships between neighboring areas, serving as a fence/barrier for each other to prevent NTS together.
Additionally, the Department of Provincial Administration will be shared this testimonial with the Mekong Institute (MI), a fund management agency, for dissemination on MKCF’s website and various project communication channels in the future.
